ATM Information The convenience of automated teller machines (ATMs) has forever changed the way you conduct financial transactions. With a SunState FCU ATM card, you can have access to your regular share, share draft, and personal line of credit 24 hours a day. As an added bonus, SunState FCU ATM machines do not assess a surcharge to access a SunState FCU share or line of credit account. Cash withdrawals, funds transfers, and loan advances can be made at ATMs across the country. You can even make deposits or balance inquiries at designated ATMs. Just look for machines bearing a Exchange, Plus, Presto or Visa sign. There is no transaction fee imposed by SunState FCU for using Presto designated ATMs. Your first transaction every month is free, no matter where it is performed; after that, there is a small fee for using ATMs not on the Presto network. You won't be assessed a fee or a surcharge for using a Presto designated ATM. You'll receive a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to use with your ATM card to ensure that all transactions are confidential. Ask your member service representative about the convenience of a SunState FCU ATM card. ATM safety is important! The following tips are excerpts from our handout titled "ATM Safety Reminders": - Take another adult with you when using an ATM.
- Make sure the ATM is well lit.
- Lock your car doors when entering an ATM site.
- Never count your money while standing at an ATM.
- Keep your ATM card in a secure place.
- Never leave your receipt at the ATM site.
Protect the magnetic stripe on your ATM card to avoid inconvenience, by: - keeping your ATM card in a protective sleeve we will be happy to provide,
- not placing your card back to back with another magnetically encoded card, and
- by not placing your card on top of a computer, TV, or radio.
